Members at the University of South Wales have been prevented from joining the strike, despite 78% voting in favour of action, because on this occasion they did not meet the 50% turnout threshold.

Undaunted, they have been leafletting students about the campaign and encouraging members to donate to the hardship fund and they are discussing reballotting the branch at the earliest opportunity.
